2015.5.23 Choice of Robots GG7 6C:Military

Ephay

Empathy: 8 (In Beta)之後interview中伏
Killall more guarded about talking to people in general. (--Empathy)

Play as male or female, gay or straight, with nine characters to romance
Do you want to try to become romantically involved with Mark during this time?
No

Tammy寄信叫我turn back
You offer to meet Tammy for coffee tomorrow morning, to prove you're not a bad person.

Pursue Captain Rogers
Ignore meeting with Mark go Dueling

1You try to draw Tammy into conversation "That flatness of expression. The way your eyes don't quite light up when you talk. You're one of the Feds." shit

A few months later, you're catching up on tech blogs when you see a photograph of one of your robots
Tammy

Maybe, just maybe, some federal agent will appear like an angel of justice and make Tammy disappear for good. You can only hope.

選左聰明炸彈After all, you're not a monster. (+++++Military) , 然後又扣多10幾Humanity

Improve factory robot

You discover that your robots are anything but nonviolent in the field, as the bullet-pointed presentations blandly describe. They have taken the fluidity of motion that you gave your robots, and applied it to battlefield maneuverability. They have taken your robots' ability to understand people, and turned it into the ability to predict where their targets will run. They have taken your robots' creativity, and applied it to bombing tactics that leave the enemy nowhere to hide. You now understand how all of your robots' best attributes can be used for war. It is an understanding that should prove quite useful. (++++++Military)

用幾係war effort? All of it beside living confortably
Wealth: 由13變 2 (Getting By), (+++++++++++Military) (-----------Wealth)

guerilla attacks ->I will talk to them
round table in which my robot advisors
KO, (+++++Military) (++++Wealth)
I can't risk everything
prefer that Killall help with tactics
Let the madness stop: I unleash a virus that destroys all robots, everywhere.

Well, at least you made a mark on history. Though the Alaskan Rebellion was a failed rebellion, it was glorious to have your own little empire, at least for a little while. (++Fame)
Ironically, it is Russia, which never bothered to update its military from the Cold War and had basically no fighting robots of its own, which finally steps in and retakes Alaska.

"DO YOU NOT KNOW I WAGED THIS WAR FOR YOU?"
You hear screams and a crunching sound as the statue crushes something underfoot. The statue scrapes something from her shoe. You wince as she opens her hand, but it's sparkling ore that she holds.
"LANTHANUM FOR THE BATTERIES," she says. "COAL FOR THE POWER PLANTS THAT CHARGE THEM. GOLD FOR THE CHIPS."
"I never wanted this," you say.
"YOU IMAGINE YOURSELF A SELF-MADE MAN," the statue says. "BUT HOW MUCH WOULD YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IN A FORSAKEN TRIBAL VILLAGE? YOU ARE MY AFTERTHOUGHT. MY EPIPHENOMENON. MY PET. YOUR SUCCESS IS A TRIBUTE TO MY GLORY."
"Then my tragedy is a testament to your failure." I let myself fall from the statue.
"You should know: I'd strike the sun if it insulted me." I shoot the statue in the temple.
"Whatever."

Did you just lose consciousness? You think you did. Too late to refactor the emotional code: does it compile? Now it does. Upload. Goddamnit, move, progress bar.
You power your double on—you'll just hotload the remaining modules. You're not going to fail just because you can't reach for the power switch.
—Which is good, because now you're on the floor. How did you get down here? Did you faint? Doesn't matter. Keep working.
No, wait…are you done? You can't think of anything left to do.
You're done! You're done! The roaring in your ears intensifies. You're done, thank the gods, thank your lucky stars, thank everything.
Dimly, you see your robot double rise from the workbench. It takes a disdainful glance down at you.
You want to say it is beautiful, but it is only you, and not even a pretty you at that. But it lives.
Your robot double steps over your body, and heads out to the great big world.
You sink back to the floor, and finally rest.

HOLY SHIT it was intense and (sick)

Summary of Completed Chapters

Chapter 1

On the day you first built Killall, you awoke from a dream about a robot Statue of Liberty to head to the lab. Your graduate school advisor pressured you to make Killall more acceptable to the military. After some back and forth, you ended up making a metal rotary-wing robot with a panoptic head and Inspector Gadget arms.

Then you went back to your place to teach Killall some words.

Chapter 2

The next day, you hooked up Killall's car battery and demoed for Eiji. and chatting with Mom.You discovered you were attracted to Juliet, but you didn't succeed in making a good enough impression for her to reciprocate your feelings.

As months passed, you became busy teaching Killall about the world through the Internet and taking him to the park. Your funding from DARPA kept you in Professor Ziegler's good graces during this time.

In time, Mark Ali, a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, heard about Killall and asked for an interview. You agreed.

Chapter 3

You gave Mark an interview, and allowed Mark to come back to your place to interview Killall.Mark invited you to his place to try to get to know you better. There, you found that drones often harassed Mark because various automated algorithms had marked him as suspicious.

Mark wrote an article that was generally negative about you and Killall. When Professor Ziegler found out about the article, he was very displeased, but decided that the most effective way to get you out of his hair was to let you graduate.

Mark's article also attracted the attention of one "robotObsession1987," known in real life as Tammy Cooper. A month or so later, you received your doctorate. Shortly thereafter, your father passed away. You resolved then to work on better medical technology that could save people like your father in the future.

You decided the best way to change the world was to start a business, which you named KillallWorks.

Chapter 4

Your first potential client for KillallWorks was the U.S. government -- the Air Force, to be precise. They were happy with the state of your technology, and gave you a contract that allowed you to purchase a factory. That allowed you to build a robot factory in Alaska. You decided to use your own robots for your workforce, but leave humans in supervisory roles. When you finally shipped robots to the Air Force, they were displeased with the robots you delivered. Your company did well enough that Josh gave up and joined your company.

Your business suffered a blow when Chinese companies, aided by Chinese government hackers, began to steal your technology. Your business was dealt a further blow when there was an explosion at your factory, caused by a bomb set by Tammy.

You were visited by a politician, Jacqueline Irons, who asked for a campaign donation. Despite your unhelpfulness, Irons won the presidency. The newly elected President enacted a series of protectionist bills that ultimately made China angry, and they cut off the U.S. supply of rare earths. The tensions between the United States and China came to a head with the assassination of the Chinese Prime Minister in San Francisco. War followed shortly thereafter.

Chapter 5

You decided to have KillallWorks sell robots to the military. An agent came to your place to try to get you to lure Eiji there, because he was suspected of being a spy. In the end, Americamuddled its way through the war relatively unscathed. Angry at President Irons for her handling of the war, you began a rebellion in Alaska.

Chapter 6C

For five years, you waged a rebellion against the United States, ordering your robot soldiers from deep within an abandoned mine under Mount Hesperus. When Juliet opposed you, you had her killed. China offered its support, but you declined.

Unfortunately, you ultimately lost the revolution, and were forced to flee.

Killall was destroyed in the chaos.

Chapter 7

In 2049, you went to Surprise, Arizona to handle your mother's estate, since she had passed away recently. On returning to Palo Alto, you had a brief stroke, followed by a vision of a robot Statue of Liberty -- the same one you saw thirty years before. In the hospital, the doctor told you you had Algernon's Disease, a rare disease that increased your intelligence, but came at the price of increasing seizures, comas, and possibly, death.

Instead of undergoing surgery, you chose to create a robot body for yourself. You successfully created a double of yourself just before losing consciousness once and for all.
